Citizens in Action
The "Citizens in Action" program is a pilot initiative designed to introduce K-12 students to the fundamental concepts of citizenship, the law, and their rights through engaging, hands-on projects. The program aims to foster a deep understanding of civic responsibility, and the importance of their individual rights.

Students will focus on understanding their rights and duties in becoming good citizens and making positive contributions to society. Our custom curriculum will align with the Florida state standards. The social studies standards will be integrated through reading and class projects with emphasis on U.S. Government.

Centered around legal studies, our magnet program for middle school students will offer a dedicated avenue for exploration. Through carefully curated course electives, students will not only learn but also develop a profound comprehension of the intricate workings of the U.S. Judicial System.

Within our high school curriculum, we're introducing a Pre-Law Magnet Program tailored to students who are interested in developing skills in legal studies and the judicial system. This program will facilitate career exploration and provide a pathway to earn college credits, effectively equipping students with a strong foundation for a career in the legal and judicial industry.
The GLA Way
To foster stronger connections between communities, GLA schools will establish local partnerships with law enforcement agencies. These partnerships will include mentorship programs, providing students with opportunities to collaborate with law enforcement professionals.
